pAn account of last night's wakings:br /
br /
7:30-ish PM: I march around the living room holding August snuggly as he drifts off to sleep. At which point I put him into his crib.br /
br /
8:20-ish PM: August cries. I dash up the stairs in time to coax him back to sleep.br /
br /
11:something-ish PM: August cries out. I spring from my warm bed and try to get him back to sleep by merely holding his hands still. When this doesn't work, I pick him up and bounce/dance around his room until he goes back to sleep.br /
br /
1:00-ish AM: August cries out with more intensity. Em gets a bottle while I try to quiet the little guy. Feed him the bottle's contents. Burp him. Hold him until he's sleeping again.br /
br /
3:30-ish AM: August cries out. Em gets up. Puts him back to sleep.br /
br /
4:00-ish AM: August criest out. I get up and try putting him back to sleep without picking him up. Doesn't work fast enough. Pick him up and hold him until 5:00 AM. Put him back in the crib. br /
br /
5:05-ish AM: Elliot wakes up shouting. I get up and bring him to our bed, intending for him to go back to sleep. He does with me holding him.br /
br /
5:30-ish AM: August wakes up hungry again. Em gets him, takes him downstairs for his bottle, and stays up with him for the remainder of the morning. I'm still sitting in bed, holding the sleeping Elliot. He stays asleep until I get up, running late, around 7:00 AM.br /
br /
August was getting so much better about sleeping in the night until two nights ago. Something's bothering him./p
