I don't know if Goof Troop is on DVD. If it is, I might pick it up. Likewise Bonkers, if it's on DVD. Nostalgia rocks, until you watch The Super Mario Bros. Super Show or The Legend of Zelda. Also, be sure to enjoy watching DuckTales embefore/em reading the comics by Carl Barks (and additionally works by Don Rosa), or suddenly the animated series is disappointing. I still like it, though!br /
br /
I understand the reason that episodes of Darkwing Duck are so mixed around, but because of the mixing, I'll hold off on watching series two yet. I want to watch something that won't be jumping around between what was aired on one station and what was aired on another station.br /
br /
I've already watched volume one of both DuckTales and TaleSpin (now emthere's/em a nice series!), so I'll hold off on them.br /
br /
I have two volumes of Rescue Rangers, and one of Gummi Bears.br /
br /
I remember Gummi Bears the least (almost no memories; just a few), so I'll begin with that! Man, I wish I knew where I had my toy of the little pink one (I think he was my favorite), so I could photograph is for the 365 toy project. I wouldn't be surprised if Gummi Bears, alongside the animated Hobbit movie, and Smurfs (episodes with Johan and Peewee) didn't foster my love of the medieval/fantasy genre in my earlier youth.br /
br /
Checking/editing/uploading photos will take longer now, but watching something in the background (which requires no reading subtitles) will make it feel more emefficient/em a use of my time =Dbr /
br /
Oh, and I just realized looking at the box that this set has emone season per DVD/em -- so, it's emall three seasons/em in one set! You probably can't expect much when it comes to visual quality (without a digital restore process that won't be able to pay for itself in sales), so it's understandable for there to be such a small fit. However, 16 episodes listed as 220 minutes means 13.75 minutes per episode. The episodes aren't 14 minutes long, so this must exclude opening/enndig themes. *Sticks DVD into DVD drive.* All right, I'm loving this theme song!br /
br /
Update: After watching the first four episodes, the video quality is better than I expected for a 1985 animation. And the stories are fairly decent, too! DuckTales has a level of quot;dumbed down for childrenquot; that isn't here and especially isn't in TaleSpin. I don't remember about Rescue Rangers.br /

Update 2: At least one episode is 10 minutes (with no opening theme). Maybe they have a 10 minute episode and a 15 minute episode that aired together?/p

pThe Disney Afternoon was a collection of half hour original Disney programming that ran in syndication in the early 1990's. The structure of the program included a musical begining and end, as well as bumpers. The format typically consisted of 4 shows, which each year, the shows would move forward a half hour within the program and the first show would be removed and a brand new show would be added to the last half hour. The first run of the Disney afternoon included Gummi Bears, Ducktales, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, and Talespin. Eventually new shows would be added, like Darkwing Duck, Goof Troop, Gargoyles, Bonkers, and others./p

pOdd build I tried doing some time ago, the Seaduck from Disney's Talespin. Of course its not fully complete due to lack of proper textures and dedication to do the textures but it is as complete as I would ever get it. Complete with insides. Only problem is I don't really know much about planes in general as this is one of the larger builds of mines in terms of planes. I'm also not certain on how many people can fit inside it as its kind of, small as I tend to enjoy being shorter digitally rather than my actual height./p
